Of course, that would create a bunch of legal issues.

Are you sure? You can play MP3s on the Battlefield Vietnam radio (when you are in a vehicle, you can turn on the vehicle's radio and blast an MP3 for everyone in the radius to hear) and there is no problem.

So you can turn on the radio then download an MP3 from your computer into the game and play it?

However I have a hunch that changing the sky might be a problem. My theory on the GH is that each guild is assigned a (hidden) district # for that guild hall. Don't quote me on that though..

Yeah I thought it was going to be somthing like that. There would be no point in doing somthing like that in guild wars because you can just play your music in game while muting the in-game music if no one else would hear it anyway.

You always can access the ghost-dudes so that people from differenct continents can access it and if one player doesn't have favor then it could say "blablabla player can't enter".

in addition: I recently purchased a new guild hall (weeping stone). One of the reasons I chose this one was because it looked like all the merch/traders/NPCs would manifest in relatively close proximity. As it turns out, weaponsmith, merch, dye trader, and scroll trader all appear outside the main building, and worse still, they are at opposite corners of that building.

My guild mates pretty much aggree that it would have been nice to be able to select the locations that these vendors manifested as we purchased them.

Personally, i hate having to run outside, dodging the faction ambassador, and around the corner just to get from storage to merchant (the most frequently used vendors in the hall).

Just a little improvement that would have been nice.

PS, if you are ever looking for a money sink, purchase and furnish a guild hall.

..Hmm.. maybe certain spots to choose from? Somehow I don't think it would be possible to place them anywhere but I could be wrong.

If they attach a simple ai to the npc I'd assume that you could tell him to walk somewhere (Hero flags?)
